Touch Typing at the Barbican

I enjoyed your touch typing course and would rate it 8/10 just because it sometimes got a bit boring
My favorite teacher was Indigo as he is very cool
so far this is my 2nd favorite course i have been to after roblox game dev

My week at FunTeach camp (as a residential) was great!! Everyone was really kind and always helpful! The food was great although there were two or three meals that I personally didn't like but the rest was fantastic!! I made friends straight away and the day/night tutors were super kind.
Touch Typing was so much fun and the games we played (to help us touch type) were really helpful. The prize that they told us we would receive really motivated me to try harder.
Over all, this week was truly fantastic and I definitely will come next year!!!

Fantastic Week!

My 7 year old daughter came home buzzing after her first day of FunTyper. I'm impressed with her posture, finger placement and accuracy. Her tutor kept her engaged and motivated, thank you!

It was great to the point where I am now typing this without looking and go I got prize money. I made lots of friends. Teachers are extremely friendly and were the only people who understood what I was talking about when it comes to keyboards xd. I have to say that the when I got bored as I had completed all the games, the boss's boss of my teacher did all he could to change that which I give all my respects to for doing that. shoutout to David for being such a great and suppportive teacher. If you had him you would be very lucky. PEACE!!!

I loved it

I loved it because there are so many fun games. the teachers were very nice. there was tons of things to do, you can go outside get some fresh air, you can even play basketball,football and you can even play capture the flag. but over all it was such a fun week

Fun Typer

Thr Fun Typer course content is pretty dry, but the course tutors made it fun for them and my son is now typing so much better, I would definitely recommend this course.

I just wanted to say how much Dylan and Seren loved touch typing. They were both a bit sceptical when I told them that I’d booked it but they really enjoyed the lessons and games and didn’t seem to realise they were learning to touch type!

Just wanted to share my views on how the fun typer day camp for both Aidan (14 yrs old) and Amelie (12 yrs old)
They both enjoyed the camp and the rapport built with Riz (tutor) and other tutors during the week.
The interactive approach to using games and rewards with real money worked well given the ages.
The focus on posture and leg position was of benefit

I understand this was more of a game approach that works well with Children but given the ages of my children I would have liked to see more real life speed typing challenges with real text etc to see the accuracy and WPM levels. This was particularly the case as both have extensive experience of using a home pc product to developing accuracy and WPM levels so I was hoping towards the end of the week this area would have been explored.

Course is extremely expensive for what it is, a touch typing course! There should also be a decent discount for siblings & returning customers. Other course providers nearly always provide this. I won't be signing up to anymore FunTech courses as a result of the cost, which is a shame. I have been a good customer of years for several years now and the next course we will be signing up for will be Python
Would have liked to see some metrics on the course certificates or from the instructors to show where the kids were at the start and end of the course & the progress made i.e. wpm & % accuracy

On a +ve note, the kids enjoyed it (altho Maeve was bored at times), it seemed well run and they loved the Amazon voucher. Ryan's instructor, Pav, was very kind, a good role model and played football with him at breaktime which Ryan loved.

I loved the camp it was so fun.

We met lots of new people and I learned a lot. It has helped me learn the positioning of each keys and i became a bit faster. It was very fun with insentives and loads of games I would come back again.
