Funtech is an amazing experience. The Tutors and the General people there are very good. I went from a hello world code to copying buildings in one day. ONE DAY! The other days of the week I progressed farther then I thought was possible in one week! The coding teachers have coding knowlege that is AMAZING!!! I learnt so much I thought was inpossible and I love funtech! The food is good and the knowlege I gained, in and out of the code room, has been fantastic! Thanks to Funtech I will look fowards to come next year!

I thought my week with funtech would be boring and I would just learn a few things like how to do this and do that, just on the first day I had already been proved wrong, Minecraft coding by day and activities ,and sleep, by night. Everybody was so nice and the courses were so fun! I did the Minecraft coder class, and oh boy it was fun! I learnt new thing and even met a few new friends! the rooms were clean and nice! my experience was great and i realy want to come again! Thank you funtech

I was at fun tech camp for a week and enjoyed every second of it, i did the minecraft coding course. The rooms were super clean and the beds were super comfy and are cleaned every other day. In the afternoon after doing your course you do a fun activity like film night, video game night and scavenge

It was really good and fun and i would do it again. i learnt a lot of things i have always wanted to know.:)

A very fun and entertaining activity!

The teacher was really nice and our course (Minecraft coding) was very interesting. We got to make games wit code and it taught us skills that we could apply to other coding games too. The other people were really nice and it was taught at a great pace so you can keep up.

An Amazing Lesson

i really enjoyed these lessons i learnt much more than i did at my school. The teacher helped us and explained to us everything in a way we would understand. i really liked my teacher he was nice, funny and helpful. I learnt a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it was only the long unit witch was extreamly boring but every thing monday to friday was so fun!

I had an amazing week and I highly recommend this camp

I think it was a brilliant week, and I liked how the teachers were always listening to what the children said.

My Week Review of FunTech

The tutors were very funny and enjoyable to spend time with, I learnt a lot about block coding and how logic coding works as well as loops, functions and variables. Fabian, Alliyah and (sometimes) Diya were my tutors and taught me very well, with a perfect balance between coding and playing.

My 11-year-old daughter thoroughly enjoyed this course. It was a well-balanced blend of skills teaching alongside enough free-building opportunities that she felt like she was playing more than being 'schooled'. Her speed of building improved significantly because of the new techniques she learned, enabling her to attempt more ambitious projects (e.g. the whole of Hogwarts). The team also did an excellent job of entertaining children during breaks outside, so there was no problem with eye strain or restlessness across the week. She's very keen to come back on a future camp!

The best of both worlds

My son loves Funtech courses. It keeps me happy because I know he’s having a positive educational experience and for my son he enjoys making new friends, learning and building on the computers and running and climbing about at play time. It’s the perfect mix!

My review of my week

Very good. I like playing Minecraft so I was thrilled to find out I would have one week of it. Overall the week was pretty good except when my little brother kept on blowing up my house and lying about it. The best bit is that I'm also coming here again next week! I can't wait!

Great Funtech review for the whole week - Minecraft coder

It was fun learning to code. We learnt how to make custom commands. Making the arena was my favourite bit. I liked creating new worlds and playing with my new friends. I enjoyed making an arena. I feel proud of all that I have achieved this week.

I had a great time at FunTech in the Minecraft course. There are informational videos that teach you how to code, and I managed to code the first level of super Mario bros. too! it was a lot of fun.

Over the past week, I have learnt so much about coding and Minecraft. From agents to variables, coding camp has taught me lots and lots of very useful information that I think will be useful even after I have stopped going because we learnt about coding techniques that can be used in all sorts of context. The instructors are friendly, the breaktimes full of fun and the lessons themselves presented in a way that allows us to have lots of freedom in the way we practice coding. I am also a big fan of the system in which we write a review at the end of each day, giving feedback as to how they can improve. I am sad to leave and hope that I will be able to return soon. I recommend the FunTech Minecraft coding course to everyone who can use a computer reasonably well and enjoys gaming, as I think that they will love it. :)

It was very fun, interesting, i made friends my favourite part was learning about the agent.

Fantastic

I learnt about the agent and that was my favourite part. Friday was the best day because we got to create our own games. I got some free time to do whatever I like.

Great course - excellent teacher

My son thoroughly enjoyed his week doing this course. He was fully immersed the whole time. Never seen him so engaged and committed to something from 9am to 5.30pm for 5 full days. Thank you.

funtech is amazing!

it was the best week i've ever had except when i did the Redstone engineering (i enjoyed the Redstone engineering a lot) I recommend funtech because you get to meet lots new friends and be creative such as when i built an apollo 11 space ship on break
