I love Funtech!

I have enjoyed this experience very much. This must be my favourite camp I've been to! We have learnt hand positions, how not to look at the keyboard and more! I really recomend this camp! Thank you Funtech!

This camp was very supportive and fun> The name funtech is accurate it think it was the perfect mix of tutors indigos relaxed tendency to let us do blookets, sharusans humor and mark doing the WPM challenge it was really fun and maybe a little repetitive but not their fault overall 5/5

Funtech is good

Funtech is the best camp I've currently been to. I love it, it's fun and so are the tutors. The days haven't been bad I hope to go there again.

Touch Typing at the Barbican

I enjoyed your touch typing course and would rate it 8/10 just because it sometimes got a bit boring
My favorite teacher was Indigo as he is very cool
so far this is my 2nd favorite course i have been to after roblox game dev

My week at FunTeach camp (as a residential) was great!! Everyone was really kind and always helpful! The food was great although there were two or three meals that I personally didn't like but the rest was fantastic!! I made friends straight away and the day/night tutors were super kind.
Touch Typing was so much fun and the games we played (to help us touch type) were really helpful. The prize that they told us we would receive really motivated me to try harder.
Over all, this week was truly fantastic and I definitely will come next year!!!

This week has taught me an essential life skill in touch typing. The games, although being a little arbitrary, were still good learning agents and the fact that I will be walking out of this course with an amazon gift card, rewarding good typing, only heightens the experience. Overall, in my opinion, the fact that I have touch typed this review, shows the learning curve I have been on with this course, going from typing slowly to touch typing accurately and quickly.

Over the past few days, I feel that my skill in touch-typing has progressed, and I have gotten a lot better than before. I think the Funtech community had done a great job at keeping us entertained in many ways (playing games at lunch, being fun, letting us play loads of kahoots and let us choose music), some in exchange for tokens. They also let us venture onto Monkeytype to let us track our average WPM and lets us improve on our scores and compete against each other, I feel quite happy with my score now with 77-WPM and 100% accuracy! That may change :)! I particularly enjoyed the game bop it, where you have to type to bonk little critters on the head and make them go away.
In total, I think that the Funtech community has done a great job.

Fantastic Week!

My 7 year old daughter came home buzzing after her first day of FunTyper. I'm impressed with her posture, finger placement and accuracy. Her tutor kept her engaged and motivated, thank you!

It was great to the point where I am now typing this without looking and go I got prize money. I made lots of friends. Teachers are extremely friendly and were the only people who understood what I was talking about when it comes to keyboards xd. I have to say that the when I got bored as I had completed all the games, the boss's boss of my teacher did all he could to change that which I give all my respects to for doing that. shoutout to David for being such a great and suppportive teacher. If you had him you would be very lucky. PEACE!!!

I loved it

I loved it because there are so many fun games. the teachers were very nice. there was tons of things to do, you can go outside get some fresh air, you can even play basketball,football and you can even play capture the flag. but over all it was such a fun week

Thr Fun Typer course content is pretty dry, but the course tutors made it fun for them and my son is now typing so much better, I would definitely recommend this course.

I just wanted to say how much Dylan and Seren loved touch typing. They were both a bit sceptical when I told them that I’d booked it but they really enjoyed the lessons and games and didn’t seem to realise they were learning to touch type!

Just wanted to share my views on how the fun typer day camp for both Aidan (14 yrs old) and Amelie (12 yrs old)
They both enjoyed the camp and the rapport built with Riz (tutor) and other tutors during the week.
The interactive approach to using games and rewards with real money worked well given the ages.
The focus on posture and leg position was of benefit

I understand this was more of a game approach that works well with Children but given the ages of my children I would have liked to see more real life speed typing challenges with real text etc to see the accuracy and WPM levels. This was particularly the case as both have extensive experience of using a home pc product to developing accuracy and WPM levels so I was hoping towards the end of the week this area would have been explored.
