i really liked the funtech camp in the NXT you had to make a robot and then you could have robot battles. you had to pass challenges and i realy liked it.

its lots of fun at funtech the teachers are friendly the activites are interesting i recomend it for
kids of age 8-15

To sum this up, this was one of the best camps I have been in!!!

Building and programing robots is exellent when you have Pierre.

With Pierre we made these cute little robots which we programed on the computer to do stuff like crazy little dances and neat turns. Most things like that were really tricky like when I sat on my robot and it broke to pieces and had to do it all over again and especially when my head kept falling...

it was fun when we programmed going through the maze.I didn't like it when my robot fell apart.We programmed the robot to go through the maze.Yesterday we tested all of the sesors.

I liked building the robots on day 1(Monday) because it was very easy. The programming started of very easy and slowly got harder and more interesting. Today we are going to program our robots to go through the ultimate maze and have a big battle between all of our robots. It was really annoying when my robot fell apart and the head came off. I have enjoyed programming robots and building robots at Funtech and will miss it.

Catt is very nice and she codes very well. I had a great time this week, and I learned how to make the robot do a lot of good stuff . It was a very little group so it was Very good.

Are teacher was called Catt was a educational inspiration to nearly everyone on the same course said the same thing about her she was great in the fact that if you went wrong she would would show which part of the program that was incorrect.

I would recommend FunTech to any one who was interested I would also say how great it is

it is ok some bits are boring but hard and fun aswelll building not the best thing i have ever done videos hard to sit still in the rest is super fun

Lego Coding

I would advise people to sign up for this excellent course. There are great facilities here, and brilliant tutors, also extremely enjoyable, as suggested from the name. I would urge anyone that is interested to come to this camp! I would be more than welcome to go back there again! :)

The way to describe this is in the name 'fun'. Ollie makes it a lot easier at the same time as making a challenge. I like it when it is a small group which let me learn a lot.

My daughter Tabitha really enjoyed the course and came home full of beans every day. She was very keen to tell me how much she had learned and really liked all the building and playing with new types of lego. She wants to be an engineer and this course really reinforced that ambition.

One of the best weeks ever!

Brendan has learnt so much on this course and, above all, he has had great fun!

I found this camp a wonderful experience for our 12 yo this summer. Even though we were on vacation he would wake up very early every morning, so full of excitement and impatient he was to get to the workshop. In the evening he would non-stop talk about all the details of the things he had been doing and robot programming tricks. The teachers were charming and I could see how well they connected with the kids. I think this experience will be the start of a lasting interest in technology for our son. I strongly recommend the course. We will definitely plan to enroll in some other FunTech adventure!

Robotics Nxt Camp

My son really enjoyed his week at the camp and is already looking forward to joining more such camps in the future.
It would have been better if the robot they made was given to them to take home.

My two 12 year olds attended the St Albans camp and have had a fantastic time. It takes Lego to another level beyond the model building you normally do at home. Along the way they have been learning some basic programming as well as using motors and sensors to complete challenges and beat the maz...

Along the way they have been learning some basic programming as well as using motors and sensors to complete challenges and beat the maze. The staff have been amazing, teaching but in a really fun way. Both have asked me if they can come again, and that says it all!

A fun week of coding and construction

My boys really enjoyed the week, the team make it highly interactive, keeping a great mix between the learning and the fun. The tutors made it great fun and were really happy to let the boys explore what they were interested in.

My 11 year old son really enjoyed the course. He was very enthusiastic to attend each day, making sure we arrived on time! He has learnt some coding skills and I hope he will take this further.
Despite the school setting there has been no complaint of this being a "summer school", however I still feel there has been educational value.
Only disappointment has been that we are told we cannot take the robots home with us at the end of the course. I suspect there will be further spending on equipment in the future.
Overall a worthwhile investment and a different experience from the traditional holiday camps.

I really enjoyed working in a team for Robot Wars and learning about different blocks. My instructors Yuvesh and Kwaku were very helpful.

My Course Experience

The coaches were very kind and helpful. Only thing was that we couldn't take our robots home. Would recommend for others.

The Lego NXT Robot Coding is an amazingly interesting course. The tutors are so knowledgeable and are they are always there to help us. I absolutely recommend this course for anyone with a love for coding!
