Overall I enjoyed it , we got to play games at break and lunch ! We had multiple breaks . I thought we would just stare at a computer screen all day but we have many breaks ! Now for the computing course, I did the Python course and it was..... AMAZING ! ! I learnt things I didn't even know and the tutors were really nice and helped ! We even got Cookies for break !! Yum ! In the Python course we got to do all different projects and code games ! I made a quest ! It was really good and we got to take are projects home (if we wanted too on a USB !) Overall I enjoyed it and it was fun ! At lunch we got to play games outside we did : Tag, Capture the flag x2, and even more ! I enjoyed playing wolf at break ( I kept being the wolf or innocent) ! In the python course we did lots of projects and 1 main project ! It was fun and I learnt ALOT !

Overall, it was brilliant, we had a fair bit of sports along with the coding, so we weren't sitting around all day which is a necessity. The food was great as well, as their were a variety of options for those who were vegetarian or ate halal food. The accommodations were excellent, there were bathrooms in close proximity to our dorms and in some rooms there were sinks, so you could brush your teeth and wash your face there. The staff were really nice and empathetic if you were upset and helped out a good deal in the coding itself. The coding in general was excellent, we discovered a range of topics and we were taught with videos and examples and we got to do a project at the end.

Very fun

I had a lot of fun at Funtech learning about Python. Over the week, I programmed games using the basic Python algorithms I have learned. The help I needed was always provided for me by the very nice tutors.

It was very good

I made lots of projects and learnt python. It's encouraged me to learn python and I will explore python in the future because of the camp.

A great course for teenagers taking computer science GCSE!!

I loved it! It was so organised, the classes were small so we got full attention. Ashwini (teacher) was so kind and guided us all very well. We shared our screens so that she could help us and edit the code if needed. I will definitely sign up for part 2. I had a wonderful experience

Very good, learnt lots, the way the material was taught meant I found it easy to retain lots of information and I am a lot better at programming than I was before! The tutor was super helpful and answered everyone's questions, and since we were ahead of schedule, we were even taught extra stuff! Most people were on 10 mins before the lesson started so we even got extra time.

The course was fun yet informative, and every time I had an issue or misunderstanding the teacher helped me out. I previously had little to no experience with python, but I now have a large amount of experience with the language, as well as a solid understanding of most basic and even some complex features and functions of python, as well as how to use them effectively in numerous ways. It was paced really well, as while I was being taught a lot, I never felt overwhelmed and I was only taught something new if I had a solid understanding of the previous topic.

I found this course very well done and very fun!
I had never done coding before and didn't know what to expect, but I loved it!

Fun and Interesting

The course was really fun and I really enjoyed it.
My most favourite part was the projects because they were fun and challenging to do.
Overall my it was a great experience which I found really interesting, fun, challenging and I enjoyed it very much.
I will hope to do this again.

I liked this course quite a lot. The tutor was nice and gave us extensions when we were finished.
If you know some python already I would recommend taking the second course or even the AI one because I'm sure that uses python as well.
The practice challenges at times were challenging and I spent a good 2 hours on the final project because I used the wrong variable.
My tutor helped me with it a lot and we eventually figured it out.
Just know there is always more to code if you finished.

This course is friendly to beginners and if you want to learn how to code this is the way to go as Python is easy and a high level language (very english based).

It was great fun and I really enjoyed it!

Overall this was a great course and I thoroughly enjoyed.I learnt a lot of new things about python coding and from trying python for the first time I really feel I have learnt a lot more.
I also had a great tutor (Shuj) who was very encouraging and patient.Thank you!

I very much enjoyed my time here at Funtech learning about python. I have made lots of friends here so feel safe and comfortable learning. Whenever I didn't understand something I all ways got help and it is very much worth coming if you want to learn so basic python.

I have enjoyed my time over the past week with FunTech and it has changed by understanding and knowledge of Python Coding massively. I would leave a good review because the atmosphere was productive, friendly and innovative. I would recommend to others in this age range.

The Best Experience Ever!!!

My personal opinion is that it was amazing. They really go in detail and make sure that the experience was fun and understandable. I learned how to code things I didn't even know was possible. All in all, it was wonderful, and if I could, I would definitely do it all over again!

Throughout the week I have re-visited many of the key aspects of computing and I have enjoyed it very much. I received helpful advice from my tutor on what else I could do better to improve my code and this has helped me further my understanding of computing/ programming and I have gained more confidence in the basics of programming and python and I am happy to say that it has helped me a lot. And during breaks it was very fun since we played many games and there was lots of social time so you are not just sat in front of a screen all day.
