AMAZING

Great experience, very supportive and kind tutors, I have learnt a lot and it was amazing, most of the students were very kind and supportive

The only bad experience were a few students who were very disruptive.

3d games design course

it was really fun and i would want to carry this on, making parkour was my favourite part and would do anything do do it for a hole week

i got to meet some new friends and learnt a lot about 3d game design and how to use unreal engine. the tutors were also very good and very helpful. i give this an 8/10

I liked this camp I would come back.

I enjoyed this camp a lot. I enjoyed this camp more than the others (Lego robotics, Minecraft redstone and Roblox game developer). The tutor was really nice and helpful.

At the start of the week, I did not find this course very enjoyable. I found the software overly glitchy and complicated and the video tutorials were hard to follow. In addition, it seemed like 3 groups had been merged as there were 19 people in our group and 3 tutors. However, on Day 3, our group was split in two and it was a lot better. Luckily, I was on the group with 2 tutors so all of my queries were answered quickly. Our tutors now paused and explained the tutorials as we went along which allowed me to learn more. My tutors were incredibly helpful and supportive. Overall, I have really enjoyed this week and have created a pretty good game

I would like to say thank you to my teacher Jamie as he coped very well with the crazy person in the class who didn't do any work and messed around too much. Jamie helped me learn how to use Unreal Game Designs and explained the things that didn't work.

it was fun and i would come again if the minecraft cources allowed 14 year olds and 3dx was very fun as i have never made a good game before :)

Didn't think I would learn so much is such a short time, really pleased.

It was very fun and I learned tons of things about Unreal Engine 4 in just a week! The teachers were really nice and supportive too! If anybody wanted to start using Unreal Engine they should go to this camp!

I leant so much more than I thought I would!

I enjoyed how the tutors explained everything and how they helped students with all of the issues they had while keeping the class calm and focused.
I also enjoyed how the course was planned with all the basics first and how the more complicated things were later on, I enjoyed the pace of the videos where we had enough time to understand what it was explaining while still being able to repeat it with relative ease, I extremely enjoyed how we were able to use our creativity to make games while still following the course and getting help from the tutors, I apricated how the tutors were very knowledgeable about our topic and had every answer to every question.

The course was brilliant. The staff were friendly and really helpful. By the end of the 2 weeks I just wanted to keep going and see how I could expand on what we had learnt. We learnt everything from level design to ai that walk around and attack when nearby. At the end of the 2 weeks we made our final project we used everything that we had learnt and made our very own games.

I would definitely recommend this to any one who wanted to learn unreal

Thank you so much for teaching me how to use Unreal Engine, before this I barely even thought about game design and now I love it! I definitely will be using it again throughout my life. It has been so fun for the short time of 2 weeks, and wish I can stay with Alexander longer. Please do tell my father -Rosen- if it is possible that I have more sessions with Alex as I do want to improve a lot more without watching 50 tutorials and not finding the right way.

Funtech camp review

This camp was very fun to do and learning how to use different parts of unreal engine like part placing, landscaping and blueprint scripting were easy and fun to understand and use. It seemed like it went past faster than it did (in a good way) and was very enjoyable.

Unreal Engine Course Review

I absolutely loved this course. It has taught me how to master the basics of Unreal Engine and I have had a fabulous time doing so. My tutor was amazing, really friendly and engaging, and I had such a good time.

We had amassed a large amount Childcare Vouchers over the past few years, which we needed to off-load before our children got too old. We were looking for something that might be appropriate for our son, who is 11, loves gaming, and has been looking for a way to level-up from Scratch and Roblox for a while now - and this seemed to fit the bill. He was a bit dubious at first though - "this feels a bit like school" - he said when I dropped him off on the first day, and he had a point. When I picked him up at the end of the first day, he was very tired - it was a long day for him. He told me it was "good", but the last two hours were a bit boring. I started to get a bit worried about the rest of the week. When I picked him up at the end of the second day he was much happier and told me that he didn't get bored at the end of the day this time. On the third day, he was tired, but absolutely buzzing when I picked him up, and he was surprised at how fast the day had gone. By Thursday he was really into it, and was telling me all about the game he was making which had 5 different endings. At the end of Friday we had a show-and-tell, where the children were able to show their parents what they had made, and transfer their projects onto USB thumb-drives to take home with them.

Overall I think our son was very happy with the experience, and he has learnt a lot - I think I will have to try and get him to teach me some Unreal now. Thank you!

final funtech review

Today (and the rest of the lessons this week were actually really good as I learned a lot of things i didn't know you could do in Unreal engine.

Really Good

Had a couple technical difficulties but overall was an outstanding camp!!

A brilliant camp

I loved this camp, and I would strongly recommend it. You learn all kinds of skills while building a game as well. One drawback I experienced was multiple crashes because unreal engine is very hard on computers as it involves a lot of data. Try and make sure to have excess storage.

3D Game Design Review

This course was enjoyable as I learnt how to use multiple features in Unreal so that I was able to create my own game. I was taught in a clear way and I was helped if I needed it. The features that I learnt were useful and had numerous uses in creating a game.

funtech was a really fun way of learning coding and there is a huge variety of classes you can take. All the teachers are really helpful and know what to do to help you when you need it. My funtech experience was highly enjoyable.

Great Camp

I have really enjoyed this camp and would recommend it to my friends and sibling. I have enjoyed working with blueprints and meshes and might carry this on by myself as a hobby!

The course went very smoothly thought the week and the teachers explained and showed everything simply. The things that you learn are very interesting and as the name suggests the course is fun and uses tech Midé and Max where very helpful I personally really enjoyed the course and would highly recommend Midé And Max where the best Teachers by far .FunTech has been a real help for me and has really exceeded my expectations of everything and the expectations that I set were very high if I were to rate the FunTech course out of 10 it would be 1,000,000,000 out of 10. best course I've ever been to. The kids at the course where very friendly and kind In general the people where very fun to play with and where very enjoyable to be with in a comfortable space of designing your 3D game. Super easy to make friends as I said earlier highly recommended course.

funtech is actually fun

funtech is in its name as being fun unlike other camp and i wanted to do 3d game design and it was great. good for keeping kids busy whilst them haveing fun

3D Game Design

I liked Funtech a lot as it taught how to make my own game and cool features to add to my game. I also like the card games during breaks and the fun lunch activities such as football and capture the flag.

Overall I liked it a lot!!!
