The course itself was very fun! - I learnt a variety of skills and was introduced to many new aspects of Python programming that I was previously unaware of. While it was challenging, plenty of help was available from the tutor if necessary while still striking a good balance of help versus own work, promoting critical thinking and reasoning skills. I also liked how the course seemed to increase in difficulty as the days went on, as it provided a nice learning curve that allowed us to apply concepts learnt in previous days to later projects. Overall, a great course and would recommend to others!

Overall I think this was very beneficial and fun. Amy was an amazing teacher and helped me under stand a lot more about python and coding. Although i found it tough at the beginning i slowly started to get the hang of it and now i know a lot more about coding. I think this knowledge will be really beneficial for the future and i hope to come back to this camp next time:)

Great week at funtech!

AMAZING week! As usual, the staff are brilliant, accommodation is great and the course is extremely intuitive! AI course is very clear, but challenging, and I managed to build amazing things, thank you!

This was my fourth time coming to FunTech, and it was just as fun as all the times before. I did the AI machine learning course, and I learnt many things about AI, chatbots, and other fun things one can do with Python. I ended up understanding more of it than I thought I would, which was rather pleasing.
Aside from the course itself, the pupils and tutors are incredibly nice and fun to be around. I get to meet so many people every year, and it is a very character building experience. The residence is really nice, especially the common room, as you get to connect with everybody, and the evening activities are fun. There are few things one could ask for in such an extraordinary camp.
I would, however, be really happy if we were allowed hot beverages (like tea or coffee), as it is very cold in the mornings and it would help a lot if we were allowed a warm cup of tea. There is near to nothing else I would change about camp. I really recommend it to anyone.

This camp was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. Although it began with a slightly slow start, things quickly picked up pace, and before long the schedule was full of engaging activities and plenty of opportunities to learn. The evening entertainment was fun and well thought out, providing a great balance between relaxation and excitement after the more focused sessions during the day. The pastoral staff were fantastic—always approachable, supportive, and willing to help whenever needed—so I had no complaints there at all.

The tutors were equally brilliant. They not only made the sessions highly productive but also ensured that everyone stayed motivated and on track. I was able to get a lot of work done while also enjoying myself, which is not always easy to balance. Their teaching style was both informative and encouraging, and that made a big difference in the overall experience.

Overall, this has truly been a great camp. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here, learned a lot, and created some memorable experiences along the way. However, since I have already completed most of the courses offered, this might actually be my last camp unless more advanced levels are introduced in the future—perhaps something like a Hackathon 2 or AI 2. If those become available, I would definitely be interested in continuing, as every single course I’ve taken here has been excellent. If not, then I can happily say that this has been a wonderful way to conclude my journey with these camps.

This week was great, I enjoyed every aspect about it, all the teachers were very nice, and I feel like I learned so much these few days. The food was also really good, and I enjoyed the activities that we all day, overall this year at FunTech was amazing, and if I could I would come back next year.

The camp was very fun and I learned so many things that I (mostly) understood :). My final project was wonderful and my chatbot could do a variety of things that I had learned throughout the week. The tutors and other pupils were very nice, everyone is really friendly and one of the tutors, Abul, gave a very emotional speech at the end that inspired us all. I stayed at the residence and it was very good :) As well as learning a lot of fascinating new things about how AI works and even creating my own AI, the evening activities were also very fun. A marvelous experience on the whole - if you're a girl reading this then don't be shy and try out a camp, although it is mostly boys, we need to add more inclusivity to the field of computer science!!!

I learned a lot, including layers, different methods to achieve the best accuracy and least loss, and the library syntax for tensorflow and others.

Great Course!!!!

Very challenging and engaging course that has highly developed my coding skills. The course taught me to persevere and push through more complex tasks, and now I can understand and reproduce much more sophisticated concepts than in other Python camps

AI and Machine Learning Course

I really enjoyed this course! I learnt a lot about AI and neural networks, and found the course very fun and engaging. While it was somewhat slow with the Python Recap on day 1, I can see how everything is relevant. The final project is very enjoyable and brings the whole course together!

Really Good

I have done many Funtech camps but this is the most interesting one Ive done. its quite technical and complex but very good. However I always think that funtech summer camp days are very long but the regular breaks are helpful.

funtech ai machine learning course

Very useful, learning about how machine learning works, and how to manipulate ai. I also made a project at the end of the course putting everything I learnt together, creating a chatbot with ai implementations. I also learnt about neural networks, and i found it interesting how they work.

A fun coding class

I learned many coding skills here also we have a humorous teacher. I had a great time learning here, actually its not just learning, its having fun!

Although there is a lot of advanced content, once you understand it, the course is fun and easy, and cool as well! Great Course

The course was really, fun to go through. I enjoyed the first day a little less as it was boring, but the other days were very enjoyable. The 4th and 5th day was my favourite overall as we did the most fun tasks and made the better bots.
