Kent summer camps for kids
FunTech’s summer coding camps take place in various locations in the south of England, not just Kent. You can explore all our locations here. Over the last decade, they have become extremely popular with parents who want to expose their children to the world of technology and computer science, and in a fun and safe environment.
Our summer camps in Kent and elsewhere offer a unique opportunity for kids to learn coding skills away from the traditional classroom setting… whilst keeping them busy in the summer holidays.
Kids have fun… and learn!
It’s not just about keeping them busy though. Learning how to code and use technology at the FunTech Kent summer camps can help kids develop critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities. Coding involves breaking down complex problems into smaller, more manageable parts, and then finding creative solutions to those problems.
These skills can be applied to many areas of life, and we often hear how children become so much more confident and independent in their learning after attending our summer camps.
Skills they can develop include:
- Learning programming languages
- Understanding computational thinking
- Developing problem-solving abilities
Summer coding camps can also help children develop their creativity and imagination as coding allows them to express themselves in new ways and create their own projects and games. This can be a great way for kids to explore their interests and develop their own unique talents.
