I had a great time and made some great friends. My only gripe is not with my experience but this very website. I am trans as such you have Addison as my preferred name on your profile you have (known as Addison) in brackets then my legal name. then a separate place for my preferred name. I feel this is just a bit unnecessary. As you can easily just put a section saying "legal name" then "preferred name" .

This course, Hackathon, was lovely the and the teachers were very helpful if you didn't understand. The summer camp was so fun and an amazing experience the activities were so enjoyable and making friends was fun and easy. If you do the accommodation rather than daytime the rooms were stunning and so comfortable very clean. Overall this experience was very educational, fun and unique.

Cyber Security Hackathon

My child really enjoyed this course. He has attended quite a few over the years eg Python, Java etc but he really loved this one. I would definitely recommend these courses.

This camp has been a very enjoyable experience and I have learnt a lot about hacking. We had a very good instructor, Max, and we learnt about a lot about computing and how hackers are able to perform the actions they do. We learnt about different protocols and ways to make malicious code that can be used to hack into different devices. I also had fun at break and lunch times, where we played card games and Jenga and played outdoor games at lunch such as Bulldog and Capture the Flag. I would definitely come again.

Funtech camp 2022

I had a lot of fun at FunTech.
I learnt a lot of coding and tools on the software and I have taken lots of notes.
I also had a lot of fun with my peers and other people at the camp.
Overall, it was a really great experience and I look forward to using the skills that I have learnt in the future!

CyberSecurity course was very good

The Funtech course was both informative and fun. I learned many Unix terminal commands and how to use hacking tools. This course could help to get skills for a job or increase the security of a home computer

This course was very enjoyable and we learnt a wide range of skills from password cracking to hacking websites and servers. The environment was relaxed and friendly and we had a lot of freedom. However, it may be helpful to know that the course is largely based on Linux, and the devices and websites we hacked had outdated operating systems and code, meaning they were far more vulnerable than websites and devices today.
Overall, I enjoyed this course and learnt a lot, I believe it is certainly worth trying.

Sam, John and Teague were very nice and the content for hacking was fun and had good content. Sam was a great teacher who was nice to me and Arnav I will remember this course for a long time. Everyone was nice and funny. It was also good because we got lot's of attention. The breaktimes and lunches were very nice and fun. The teachers were very chill and helpful. Plus I learned a lot thanks to Sam, John and Teague. But unfortunately there were a few technical difficulties. In whole everything was great and fun.

It teaches you how to hack different Linux servers and websites through vulnerabilities, social exploitation, password hashing through different checksums, remote connections between two computers, how to mount folders onto servers so you can access data, using program...

It's a pretty great course. It teaches you how to hack different Linux servers and websites through vulnerabilities, social exploitation, password hashing through different checksums, remote connections between two computers, how to mount folders onto servers so you can access data, using programs like hydra, BeEF, OWASP ZAP, metasploit, nmap, enum4linux, john the ripper, samba and hashcat. The course also has a detailed reference guide which is useful if you forget a specific command. This course also teaches you how to fully work around the Linux command line and make everything from folders to .PHP files. This is a very large, comprehensive, educational and engaging course that I'd definitely recommend to anyone interested in Linux, computer coding and hacking. Thank you David, the best and coolest Funtech teacher anyone could ever ask for.

Worth it? Definitely.

This funtech course was very interesting and educational, I've learnt how to crack passwords, hack into accounts and edit files all early stages of using white hat hacking. We used linux operating system using the bot kali which helped us with built in commands. Our teacher David was amazing, great fun and a brilliant teacher as he was helpful understanding and overall good at troubleshooting any problems. Was a great course again and you should definitely do it. It can get sometimes a little rough but you have to figure out where you go wrong which is what hacking is all about. In addition during the breaks, we would play in the playground and play games such has werewolf or more commonly known as mafia in the classrooms (very exciting in the dark ;) ). In doing this we got to socialise with other people in different classes and I have even made some friends who I've been granted consent to contact and play games with. It was a very fun camp and I highly recommend.

I entered the course with some poor expectations, but, I was persuaded to enjoy it with an interesting course, friendly classmates, and charismatic tutors.

Having visited the venue at pickup, the venue marred from expectations, the rooms had little natural light and the kids didn't seem to have outside space to hang out in. I appreciate that it was completely to do with Covid and hopefully next year you will be able to run things in the school camp at Westminster.

My 12 year old son attended the cyber security Hackathon course this summer. He is not the easiests child to get to attend holiday camps and so we were a bit apprehensive as to how it would go. However, he really loved the course! He found it just about the right level of challenge but also great fun. My son really liked the course leader who really 'knew his stuff' but was also fun and engaging.
We had a few issues before the course started about course venue etc and these were all sorted out very efficiently by the Fun tech team. Overall our experience with Fun tech has been extremely positive and we would definitely look at booking courses in the future.

Divya was delighted to have completed the Cyber Hackathon course. Even though it was hard in the beginning for her(she has just completed year 8), the staff happily went over it again and again and she was understood the course and was very happy to do it.
She is considering a career in Cyber Security, so this course has laid a good groundwork in that journey.
As parents, we were happy with the course, location, facilities and friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Eric really enjoyed his week at funtech. The staff members were patient and understanding with him. He learned alot too. We rated it 10 out of 10.

Happy teenager

My 15 year old son initially did not want to attend this summer camp. He reluctantly agreed to try the first day, and was adamant that he would stay home for the rest of the week. But he ended up completing the whole 5 days, and is now considering switching his PC from Windows to Linux :-)

A week of hacking

The course was fun, structured and interesting. I learnt how to use Linux, hack servers and crack passwords

Overall of the week

I really enjoyed learning about all of the linux kali commands and Joe is cool and Rick astley is cool

I wanted to hack the minecraft kids

the course was very good we learned a lot but i think we could have put our new skills to good use by working as a team of hackers to hack the Minecraft kids as our show and tell
