Computing undergraduates required for coding & tech summer camps

Are you an upbeat, enthusiastic undergraduate with a can-do attitude and good communications skills? If so, we would love to hear from you about becoming a FunTech tutor at our summer holiday coding and tech camps for kids and teens.

You will receive excellent training, including teacher training and safeguarding of children (all excellent for your resumé), competitive pay, and, best of all, you will use an interactive curriculum to teach - so no preparation of content is required.

Pastoral Supervisor Profile

Our pastoral supervisors will be working and staying in our Tonbridge location for the duration of the camps.

Candidates must be organised, patient, understanding passionate to provide an enriching experience for our campers.

  1. Experienced working with children.
  2. Extremely organised to oversee the smooth operation of evening activities at the school and boarding house.
  3. Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with FunTech HQ, parents and venue contacts.
  4. Conflict resolution skills to de-escalate any unforeseen circumstances and events involving the students.
  5. An empathetic approach to a child’s challenges and concerns.
  6. Ability to remain calm under pressure and adaptability to adjust plans as required to accommodate any changes or unforeseen circumstances.
  7. Attention to detail to ensure that campers complete their daily routine activities.
  8. Enthusiasm to create a positive and engaging environment for the students.

Successful candidates for the Pastoral Supervisor role will receive accommodation, food and comprehensive training covering pastoral care requirements, special education needs, safeguarding of children, first aid and more.
