The teachers are able to make it fun and engaging and when you don't quite get something, they're able to give you a brief but good explanation. There where some parts that I found challenging, but they were able to help me every step of the way. I would highly recommend these courses to any one new to Python and can ensure they would have a great time!

On the first day, I found it difficult because I didn't know much about computing. But as my tutor went through it I started to understand it more. I am now able to code most things by myself without a tutor helping me.

Enjoyed the course and felt that some of the tasks really challenged me and strengthened my knowledge of the things I already knew a taught me some things that I didn't know before.

Good for understanding coding and learning Python

I know much more than I used to know about Python and I'm proud of what I've coded this week. There are extensions for when you have finished the main task and this is good because then I wasn't bored while waiting for other people to finish.

Most people were on 10 mins before the lesson started so we even got extra time.

Very good, I learned things that were my original goal to learn, it was fun, I progressed, e.t.c. I enjoyed the camp and in the end I did learn a lot of stuff.

Very engaged coding lesson, very good overall

The coding lessons seems well- structured, could be better to spend a bit time in each day to explain the learning objects and outcomes, and have a summary at the end of each lesson for study focus. There are some teaching contents delivered by direct recorded videos, which seems not very effect

There are some teaching contents delivered by direct recorded videos, which seems not very effective and kids may think they are not very interesting. Hand-on projects are embedded in the lesson which is very good, maybe some blend in more quiz or mini games in a group setting could keep students more concentrated in the study.

Great! Would recommend!

Tutors are very good at teaching, and the course is very helpful and inclusive. The only reason it isn't 5 stars is £475 for an online call is quite expensive. otherwise, this was great!

It was quite fun and interesting although at the start of the course it was a bit frustrating because I already knew print statements.

I feel more confident using python because the tutor made sure we that all understood what we were doing. I learnt a lot in 2 weeks and enjoyed doing the final project.

My son thoroughly enjoyed the course and the tutor was brilliant! My only issue is the python dev environment. It was a bit intrusive for the tutors to have full control of our home computer. My son as a matter of principle and his age doesn’t have his own computer so has to use mine. Other

The course was very informative and fun. I learnt a lot and using that knowledge at the end to create a project was very rewarding. However I found that not enough time was spend recapping the difficult topics. This made it so I had a very good understanding of most of the topics by the end but there were a few more complicated topics such as for loops which I didn't understand quite as well because not enough time was spent on them.
However, overall the course was extremely good and now that I have completed it I have a good understanding of the basics of programming.

This Funtech course taught me a lot. I'm learning Python in school and I can't wait to show my new knowledge! Not only do I know more to show off to my friends but I also became aware of the stuff I haven't learnt. I have done some scratch coding so I got the basic logic of everything. The only thing I slightly didn't like was the beginning of the course was a bit slow. But it has to be slow for everybody else to understand the basics I guss... Installing the software and all of that was a bit tricky but I seems like Funtech made it a clear as possible to help everyone. Good job Funtech!

I had lots of fun on this corse I loved learning python .

The course was really fun and I learnt so much. The only thing that would make it better was if we moved at a faster pace because we had to make sure everyone fully understood the topic before moving on which was understandable but a bit annoying so maybe if there were just more extension project id

Pyhton coder course was very good for 5 days you learn lots of different coding tips and tricks it is a definite do in summer holdiays or any free time.

But the problem was is that I would sometimes have to get water or leave the workspace to do something that wasn't in the break and end up not getting what we were doing and sometimes having to wait 10 minutes for people to catch up on each exercise. But all the same it was okay and there were no rude comments or being left out on something. I would recommend this course to people who have never done coding before and want to try it so they won't get bored on the first day. I appreciate the effort FunTech has put in to help me figure out if I should go to the next level or stay in this course.

A really interesting and fun camp!

I thought the course helped me a lot and I learnt how to code python for the first time. This was all really interesting that I want to show my family and teach them some python too. Our teacher was kind and really helpful to the class when we were struggling with bits that we didn't understand.

Our teacher was kind and really helpful to the class when we were struggling with bits that we didn't understand. He was always on time when coming back from the breaks and worked hard to give extra time to teach people parts they were stuck on (eg When I struggled he told me to come into the meet 30 minutes before the lesson started and helped me with bits I did not understand). If someone didn't finish something he would explain how to do the code and then give him/her his code and tell them what they could do better next time.

This was a really good experience for me and thank you so much for the lessons and teaching me lots of new and interesting things.

Thank you so much and I hope we might meet again when doing the FunTech camp again!
