My son loved this camp! It was the first time he was doing a virtual camp and he had a lot of fun and interactions with the teacher and the other kids. For us there was no option to do a residential or day camps as we live abroad now so the virtual course gave him the opportunity to do something that he loves in his mother tongue.

He enjoyed so much that he is currently doing another one!

Fun and educational with great tutor support

Felix had a brilliant time on the Minecraft Mod course. He'd never done anything like this before and we were a bit worried that it would be too much for him or not engaging enough to keep him seated but he was up at the crack of dawn every morning raring to go.

The course was well structured, age appropriate, and when things got a bit confusing his tutor was quick to reassure and help. When he accidentally deleted everything he'd created his tutor went above and beyond to recover his work for him which was much appreciated.

Felix learnt a lot, gained new confidence in creating his own characters, blocks and objects in Minecraft and has been using all his screen time since making more.

Many thanks for a great couple of weeks.

Amazing job! This was great! No complaints :) my fav part of the course was making tools, armour and ores. I figured out how to make ores generate on my own in my free time! so that's even better! I learn how to do a texture for a bow and how to make weapons even ranged!

over the couple weeks I found mods harder but I loved what kind of mods I made like entitys dimentions and biomes but I have been looking forward too the mod packs and I now can make them so thankyou for teatching me!

We cannot recommend this course more highly. Our son thoroughly enjoyed the course and the instructor was so good with the students, helping each of them handle each of the tasks patiently. He learnt a huge amount during the 2 weeks and we will certainly be looking to book future courses. Would 100%

My son enjoyed the beginner Python coding course

My son really enjoyed the course and made some friends. He made his own text based adventure game and is pretty excited about it. Looking forward to the next course.
Only one minor concern was that he had some connection issues but this was also experienced by others on the course.

IT IS GOOD

ITS JUST GOOD I SHOWED MY FRIEND MY MOD AND HE WAS SOOOO PROUD OF IT(even though he knew how to make mods)

My son just completed his second year of camps with FunTech and he absolutely loves it. The platform is great, I particularly like how the tutor not only can present the course but also help out on my son's screen at the same time, its almost magic. We've tried other providers but they don't come anywhere near the quality of a FunTech course. Our son learnt loads and was proudly showing off his creations at the end of the session, mobs, epic weapons, weird creatures... doesn't mean a lot to me, but the smile on his face does and his confidence not only on the computer but in a group environment have improved immensely. This year he will also join his older brother on the term time offering which is just as fantastic, wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

I've had lots fun on the camp and have learnt loads over the week. The last day was doing mine own things and I found it hard to come up with ideas. Overall it was really good.

My daughter loves Minecraft and everything about it so when I saw this class on Mods for Minecraft I was immediately interested. The admin team has been great sorting out all questions and guiding me through the booking process. What's great is that you can use your childcare vouchers to pay for the classes. The teacher of the class was great and helped my daughter every time she needed it. She was the youngest in the class so she needed quite a bit of support but FunTech and the teacher were supportive and she managed to complete the class and be even more enthusiastic about Minecraft!

Our 10 year old had a great time at Minecraft mods, he learnt loads and had a lovely social group of kids, so despite being on screen every morning, it was a lovely experience throughout. This course kept him entertained whilst we were working from home, and he continued working on his own after the course too. He shared his new mods with us at lunch and in the evenings, and I had to learn a whole new set of Minecraft terminology. I can highly recommend it.

I also enjoyed making the food (mine gave me so many hearts that my computer started lagging!) the plant would be a help for new people playing Minecraft

My son Victor really got a lot out of the camp and is now working away on a video game. It is extremely valuable to go on the course as the tools that the children like and skills will be of benefit in the future.

why funtech is so good

you get to explore mc and learn about it too plus you get to talk to each other wile you play minecraft with your mods that you create and you can learn tricks in minecraft with out the mods.
