My 12 year old daughter found the course useful, but as she was the only girl she did find it a little bit isolating at times. We definitely need more girls getting involved with this as it seems to be a very male dominated activity.

Unfortunately there were a few occasions throughout the course where the usual tutor was absent, through no fault of FunTech, they had to arrange some cover, which they did quickly and kept me informed when having to do so.

Had many calls from FunTech throughout the two week course to see how my daughter was getting on, it was reassuring to know that they wanted her to have a good experience and to see whether there was anything that could be done to improve it.

I have no doubt that we will be booking onto another course in the future.

We were very pleased with the course. Our son thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it!

FunTech staff are always very efficient and quick to follow up if we have any questions. Even the preparation ahead of the course works very well with helpful staff at hand to support us.

We will definitely be enrolling our son to more camps. Perhaps Residential next time as we have full confidence in team at FunTech!

The content and quality of teaching Roblox course she attended, was excellent, children were looked after very well, meals were tasty.

It was my son's first time of attending a coding camp with Fun Tech. He found his tutors fun and enjoyed the structure of the day. There were good break periods, however, from Weds - Friday the space they had to run around in after lunch was restricted which meant they spent more time on screens t

He found his tutors fun and enjoyed the structure of the day. There were good break periods, however, from Weds - Friday the space they had to run around in after lunch was restricted which meant they spent more time on screens than they should have.
Finally, I think given the cost of the course that a USB should be given to children, it is just a small token, but takes the pressure of having to remember and ensures that children get to take their work home.

My daughter Eirinn (11) did the Daytime Camp Roblox Game Developer course in August. I asked her what she thought of it and she said, "It was really cool. I learned a lot of stuff that I didn't know before. The instructors were very kind and helpful and explained things very well. I liked everything Dad". We travelled over from Northern Ireland for this and rolled it into a little Father and Daughter bonding holiday in London. Money well spent.

We would certainly consider signing her up for another one next year, although I'd like to see FunTech consider offering camps like this in Northern Ireland and the Republic.

Thank you, Remy indeed enjoyed his classes. As Roblox server wasn't working today I was not able to see his final class output, but this I was promised would be resolved next week. I would highly rate Remy's teacher, as she was very friendly and professional and made the course fun for my son. It is also a praise for Funtech as a whole, as you went ahead with the course even though he was your only student. One slight negative comment I'd say is the lack of takeaway notes, so Remy could use them while working on his project and also get back to them after the course.

Thank-you for taking the time to let us have your feedback. I will explore the option of having some takeaway notes in the future. This half term we were fully subscribed on majority of the other camps, however, we appreciate that parents rely on these camps and as such we aim never to cancel any camp. Am delighted to hear he enjoyed the camp and hope your server is back up and running soon.

Excellent courses

Our daughter attended two virtual camps at Funtech : Roblox Game Developer and Scratch Coder She had a very good time. She learnt lots of new skills whilst also having fun. The tutors were very attentive and always helpful. Highly recommended.

My only criticism is the disappointment that no certificate is given out at the end and neither was there a T-shirt at the end as was given and I believe promised as part of the marketing.

From the parent's viewpoint I am not convinced whether he would have been better off in the other Roblox course.

My 8 years old girl Elaine joined the Roblox camp this Easter. It was a very nice and encouraging environment for the kids learning & playing together. Elaine really enjoyed the Easter Camp, and we would definitely join the Summer Camp! One suggestion is, Elaine loves web design as well, like html.

He did not quite finish creating his first game by the end of the one-week course but he is certainly on track to complete the work on his own. My 10 year old enjoyed this course very much. It was structured well and he looked forward to his daily session. He has attention issues and struggles at school, but despite this, managed to engage well with the virtual course and learned a great deal.

This is the second course out son Adam has taken and he once again had an amazing time! Each day he would proudly show off what he had built, and although I am no expert on Roblox, I couldn't tell the difference between what he had made and what he plays on day to day made by professionals on this platform. I was blown away with what he could now make in the engine. The nicest thing was that his goal now is to take what he has learnt and teach his friends.

Once again FunTech continue to set the bar extremely high with their quality of both course and delivery, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

After almost 6 months out of a formal classroom setting, this 2 week Roblox game design course was a perfect reintroduction to structured learning for my son. The half day timetable with frequent breaks worked perfectly, so he could use his morning energy to engage in learning something fun, with the afternoons to relax. I really hope Funtech will be able to continue to offer 1-2 week virtual camps with half days.

Interesting material and inspired pupils

I was very impressed with what I saw of the course. A tremendous amount was covered in five days, and it was definitely interesting enough to keep the pupils engaged and enthusiastic for the whole period. The admin and technical support was also superb.

We also really appreciated that he took the time to give Toby some one to one help before a session after Toby had got behind on the previous day.
The only comment we have is that Toby would have enjoyed more class input as most of the other students had their cameras and microphones off the majority of the time so it was quite an isolated learning experience. He did another virtual course this summer where all the group interacted and did projects in groups together online. You've already addressed this with us however and I totally understand that you cannot require students to turn on cameras and microphones if they are uncomfortable doing so.

Overall, it was a good decision to enroll our son and have found FunTech to develop the learning of codings for kids. Good job on making it professional and fun way in teaching kids in that age group and keeping them focus and attentive throughout the lesson. And also managing their time keeping.

Funny days

My son enjoyed a lot during the classes, he was stuck to the computer while classes took place.
He didn't rest during breaks he was literally glued to the screen. He learned a lot and he discovered an unknown world of Roblox.

Funtech accept Childcare Vouchers and even virtually, they look after your child and keep them immersed and learning - great use of funds!

Our 9yo daughter took a 2 week morning Roblox studio course. She had played Roblox a lot but never made any games herself. This course was a fantastic introduction. She loved it so much that she did not want to take breaks!

The instructor was excellent and there was a good balance of independent work, teaching (often via videos) and discussion. It occasionally seemed like some students dominated the conversation though - it would be good if the instructor could manage this better.

Overall, highly recommended.
