There was no need for the worry because Chiamaka was the best teacher for her.

The instructor was excellent - knowledgeable, patient and calm in the face of student WiFi and other technical difficulties! It was great that the class size was small so all students received feedback and assistance quickly. We will definitely do another FunTech course.

It has been a very good experience for my daughter. At the beginning she found the pace a bit difficult but thanks to the support she caught up with the class. We will have another Virtual class soon.
Hope you could start your courses soon in the actual classes.

This was our second virtual camp and it was amazing as the first one. Again the presenter was knowledgable and friendly and really helped create a great dynamic with the rest of the attendees - it was wonderful for the children to get to engage with each other and discuss their creations and give feedback. The course moved at a good pace and all the processes were well explained. Excellent course!

Two weeks of Scratch

Our son Arthur has just completed two weeks of Scratch, he was just on the wrong side of the age recommendations for the course but as his brother was doing a course and he didn't want to miss out we approached FunTech to see if it was possible. Our son Arthur has just completed two weeks of Scratch, he was just on the wrong side of the age recommendations for the course but as his brother was doing a course and he didn't want to miss out we approached FunTech to see if it was possible. As with any request we've had with them they were very supportive and confident that one way or another he would be able to do the course.

When it came down to the course he did struggle a bit to start with, not with the content but with his confidence in asking for help which he struggled with as he can be quite shy. FunTech picked up on this immediately and were in constant contact to ensure Arthur didn't get overwhelmed. At the start of the second week he had a second wobble and after discussions they switch Arthur over to 1-2-1 sessions, after this boy did he fly. Both the tutors he had were fantastic, very knowledgable and patient with all of the kids, stepping in when help was needed, guiding when a few social rules weren't being adhered to.

The fact these courses are delivered virtually is a sign of the current times, however I think even if it wasn't the 'new normal' we wouldn't hesitate to do a virtual course if it was continued to be offered. Two weeks of mornings is just about the perfect amount of time. I think in just about every way FunTech have nailed it. Thank You!

Very good course

While Eloy was a bit bored the first 2 days, mainly because he already knew the basics, I mentioned it and the tutor gave him some extra tasks so he then started to enjoy it more and on the last week he loved it so much that he closed the door so we didn’t disturb him while he was thinking.

scratch coding

It was a fantastic experience for my boy age 8 to start with coding, Perhaps the hrs are a bit long for him and he tended to lose focus at the end of the lesson.

Good experience

My son had good learning experience on developing introductory coding skill through the camp. After the camp, he became able to make a game to play and understand how to apply it for the future project. The trainer was very kind and tenacious to take care of my son. Thank you very much.

My daughter really enjoyed the Scratch virtual camp. She worked through her little projects under the teacher’s guidance and there are enough breaks in between. He was so patient and calm and repeated instructions as many times as needed to ensure each child understood the concepts taught.
We will definitely be signing her up again next year!
